Jennifer White

Dialect Coach

Jennifer White is a leading Voice, Dialect & Performance Coach based in Sydney. Her career spans across local and international screen, stage, recordings and events – coaching acclaimed actors, professional speakers and presenters.

Her film/TV credits include as Dialect Coach on Cate Blanchett’s award-winning Netflix series Stateless, coach to Rachel Griffiths on the Stan series Bali 2002, and on the films Mortal Kombat (1 and 2), Peter Rabbit, I Am Woman and Seriously Red.

 For theatre, she’s coached 11 plays for Sydney Theatre Company, including the national tours of RBG: Of Many, One starring Heather Mitchell and Julia starring Justine Clarke. She coached Belvoir Street Theatre’s The Drover’s Wife starring Leah Purcell and Mortido starring Colin Friels, Melbourne Theatre Company’s Solomon and Marion, STCSA’s Girls and Boys, Griffin Theatre and QPAC’s Rice, and the musicals West Side Story for Opera Australia, In The Heights at Sydney Opera House, and the national tours of Chicago and Six the Musical.

Jennifer’s coached multiple stage shows for Neil Gooding Productions over 20 years, include Shirley Valentine, The 39 Steps and Stalking the Bogeyman, and musicals The Bridges of Madison County, Dogfight and Sweet Charity.

She also coaches professional speakers, presenters and creative entrepreneurs in voice, storytelling and performance craft for stage, camera and microphone. Credits include a therapist’s conference speech, author’s audiobook, holistic coach’s meditations, stylist’s training video, Opening Ceremonies and an ARIA-Award nominated narrative album, through to group workshops in voice, delivery and presence.

Jennifer graduated from NIDA as a voice coach and was a Lecturer there for 12 years on the BFA Acting, MFA Voice and Open Program public courses. Prior to her coaching career, she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts (Acting) and worked as an actor, singer and voice-over artist.
