Belinda Giblin

Belinda Giblin is one of Australia’s most distinguished screen and stage actors known for her impressive career spanning five decades across film, television and theatre.

Belinda’s screen credits include Home and Away, Sons and Daughters, Heartbreak High, Carson’s Law,Skyways, A Country Practice, The Sullivans, Cop Shop, Alvin Purple, Matlock Police, Homicide and The Box. Her film credits include Say You Want Me, for which she won a Sammy award, Peterson, Endplay, Demolition,The Empty Beach, the award-winning short film Stille Nacht, the role of Elizabeth I in the Sport for Jove film Venus and Adonis and most recently A Stitch in Time which won best Indie Film at the AACTA Awards 2022.

Belinda has received Sydney Theatre Award Best Actress nominations for her performances in Happy Days(Red Line Productions), John (Outhouse Theatre Company), Doubt (Old Fitz) and Blonde Poison (Strange Duck Productions at the SOH), she has also appeared in Family Values and Ghosting the Party (Griffin Theatre) and most recently in The Weekend (Belvoir), Amadeus with Michael Sheen at the Sydney Opera House and Suddenly Last Summer (Ensemble Theatre).
